Day of Wedding Coordinator in Hamilton, Burlington and Ancaster
You planned the wedding. We run the day, so you can actually enjoy it.The Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) Rock Garden is one of the most beautiful wedding spots in the Hamilton area, with indoor and outdoor spaces made for nature lovers. It's also open to the public until 5 p.m. At one wedding there, our team started setup at 3, and our couple arrived early for photos. For the next two hours, we answered a steady stream of visitors asking to use the bathroom, cut through the building, or find the exit. So we pulled double duty as setup crew and security, keeping our couple's private vows private. That's what a day of coordinator does: we handle the day so you can enjoy it. Day of Wedding Coordinator (DOWC) has been coordinating weddings for over 10 years, with planners living throughout Hamilton, Burlington, Toronto, and Niagara. We know your venue, we know your vendors, and we come in two months before your wedding to learn every detail of your day.
Why Hamilton Couples Choose DOWC
We're local. Our planners live and work across Hamilton, Burlington, Toronto, and Niagara. These venues are part of our everyday lives.
We've been inside your venue. From Ancaster Mill to Liuna Station, we know the load in details, the best photo spots, and what the venue team does and doesn't handle.
We see the bigger picture. Because we coordinate weddings across the entire region, we bring experience from hundreds of venues, not just one or two.
No travel fees. Hamilton, Burlington, Ancaster, Oakville, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Lincoln and Niagara are all included at no extra cost.
Over 10 years of experience. Day of coordination is all we do, and we've run your wedding, or one very close to it, more than 400 times.

Hamilton Area Wedding Venues We Know Well
Spencer's at the Waterfront, Burlington
A stunning, polished venue wrapped in glass, Spencer's shines for smaller guest counts. If you're near the top of their capacity, expect a room flip before open dancing, which is exactly the kind of transition we plan and manage for you.
Edgewater Manor, Stoney Creek
Edgewater Manor gives you the full estate, with a castle inspired interior, an incredible outdoor area for your ceremony and family photos, and some of the most delicious food we've had at any venue.
Penthouse by Ciao Bella, Downtown Hamilton
For couples who love a clean, modern, minimalist look, the Penthouse offers breathtaking city views. Our couple here stayed on site in the hotel style accommodations, and the food from the restaurant below was magnificent.
Liuna Station, Downtown Hamilton
A grand historic building in the heart of downtown, with the bonus of on site parking for your guests. The Liuna team is extremely collaborative and runs like a well oiled machine, which makes our job even smoother.
Royal Botanical Gardens, Rock Garden
Classy, chic, and incredibly beautiful, the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) Rock Garden gives your guests open space and stunning grounds to explore. Weddings are hosted in the atrium, and because the gardens are open to the public during the day, the window for setup is small. This is a venue where you truly need a planner to make every minute count.
Ancaster Mill, Ancaster
Built for fairytale weddings, Ancaster Mill has waterfalls, an adorable chapel, beautiful grounds for photos, and a restaurant that prepares all of its food on site. We also have access to the bridal suite, which makes the day much more convenient.
When dinner service ran late at one of our weddings here, we reworked the schedule so speeches and every special moment still flowed smoothly. The couple never felt the delay.
The Pearle Hotel and Spa, Burlington
We love a hotel wedding, and The Pearle is one of our favourites. Couples can take photos along the waterfront or stroll into downtown Burlington. Each bride is assigned a concierge, and we work closely with them to make sure you're taken care of all day.
The venue handles ceremony music and provides a recommended officiant, while our team leads the processional. At one Pearle wedding, we noticed the couple's divorced parents had been placed side by side to walk in, and we quietly fixed the lineup before it became an uncomfortable moment. With multiple weddings often happening at once, we also make sure our couples get their photos without interruptions.

By the time your day arrives, we'll know exactly how it should run.

Most venue coordinators focus on the venue's operations: the kitchen, tables and chairs, and vendor load in. They usually don't confirm your vendors ahead of time, set up your personal decor, or manage your timeline from start to finish. We take care of everything that belongs to your day, and we work closely with your venue team to make it seamless.
